I get married next month and my Mom has been the BIGGEST help in the world both financially and with planning. I REALLY want to include her in the ceremony somehow. Please give me ideas for her and my future Mother in Law since I wouldn’t want to leave her out.
Also my future Mother in Law is Italian (born & raised in Italy) and my Mother is African American if that helps with some ideas. Thanks!

Are you having a unity candle ceremony, because that includes both mothers

I was thinking of doing a handfasting at our ceremony and having our mothers tie the cords to bind our hands.

We had the unity candle so both of our mothers went up front right at the beginning to light both outside candles.

Ypu could have them do readings, or present them each with a small posy as part or the ceremony, or ask them to bless your rings (maybe include all immediate family members on this one).

We did the unity candle ceremony so that they could both be included in ours as well. 🙂 In fact we had both mom and dad from each side go up and light their candles together. I loved it!
