The hem is folded under the dress and tied underneath to make the gown look like it doesn’t have a train at all.

This is my dress with train fully out:

It’s a low french bustle, and I love it!  It’s tucked under the dress like PP mentions but it’s to the side to go with the assymetrical-ness πŸ™‚
