With that style of dress, you don’t need to make it show more skin to be sexy! Once it’s altered to fit your body, it will just look sexy since it is hugging your curves. I wouldn’t do any of the changes you have proposed other than add cups to the dress. The other things just will cheapen the look IMO.

i would leave it alone and wear a really good push up bra if you want the girls out!

I’m afraid if you mess with it too much, you risk making it look really trashy. It’s beautiful the way it is. Especially if you’re getting married in a church, your “girls” shoudn’t  have a prominent place in your wedding. It’s just going to make people uncomfortable.

I don’t think it needs sexing up at all. It is not dowdy, it is demure. Demure is good!

A wedding gown should be flattering and feminine (which this is) but sexy/vampy takes away from its elegance and seriousness. This is definitely one day in life that I believe the bride should not appear concerned that she needs to attract male attention with flaunting her sexuality. Her fiance is waiting to marry her on this day… for who she is, not what she flaunts. Definitely a day to appear confident, regal and secure.

I’m going to go against the conservative majority, and say, make it a v!!!

I’d wait until you’ve had the first round of alterations before you consider anything. You only need about 6 weeks for alterations, so you have plenty of time between June and September even for the most dramatic alterations.

@Starling13:  I love it the way it is. Its fitting so looks sexy anyway. I would wait until you get it, try it in your size, then decide.

I agree with a lot of the bees. The dress is beautiful, looks soft & romantic. Not the kind of dress you’d “sex up”. Once its altered to fit your body, it will look great. If anything add cups.

It’s gorgeous and sultry without being overtly sexy (remember that your dad and your grandma are going to be seeing your girls along with your FI!) Keep as is!
