My fiance and I have been working on our Vista Print std postcards for weeks now. We decided to order them last night to get them out of the way (I was getting sick of working on them). I woke up this morning knowing that I did something wrong. I placed our return address on the top left-hand side of the right side of the back postcard.
Our return address is not where the stamp should be but opposite of it. I’m worried that the post office might place marks over it and if we send it to the wrong address, it might not be sent back to us if the post office cannot read our return address. =( I ordered 250 for $37.
My fiance told me that I’m worrying over nothing. I will not receive the postcards for another 21 days and I just hope that it’s going to be ok. For those who made STD postcards, where did you put your return address? Was it a problem for those that placed it in the same area as I did? Do you think I should order more? Sorry, I’m just being a bit anal.

Call Vista Print and see if you can cancel the order before they start printing or if they will let you change it. If you just ordered last night and call this morning, I’m sure there is time to get it sorted out.

Prettykatie, I followed your advice and they were able to edit it for me. Phew!! What a relief. I didn’t call them earlier because their policy states "no changes and cancellations." I guess it doesn’t hurt to call and ask. Thanks for you help!

it is more common for postcards not to have a return address then to have it. there is nothing wrong with having it and it sounds like you put it in the right place.
it should be on the mailing side either in the top left corner or if you have divided your mailing side in half to include information, it should be on the post office portion in the top left.
so it sounds fine if you can’t change it.

Vista print says 21 days, but of all the hundreds of orders I’ve placed with them – I’ve never actually waited that long 🙂 You’d be suprised how fast they ship – especially over a non-holiday (like x-mas, thanksgiving time)
