We matched the band width, but did mismatched stones.

This is the one I plan on getting with my halo! πŸ™‚

Here’s a similar one in rose gold on an actual hand:

Or you could do a simple 7 stone:

I feel like if you aren’t going to get a set that matches perfectly, you should go completely different with shapes or gold colors or something. Because to me, otherwise it looks like you tried to match it and failed if that makes sense. LOL

I would go with something of equal thickness. I don’t think it would be too much at all!

alaynenick :  Beautiful ring! Mind if I ask the size of your center stone and the width of your band? I’m still trying to decide on mine. πŸ™‚

I have a very chunky halo, so instead of trying to put something with it I decided to wear my rings on separate fingers. I know lots of people like having a “set” on their ring finger, but personally I like that the two have their own “spotlight”. Plus it takes the pressure off of having them match or be the same width or same style, etc. WR_RHR2

KatzeB :  Thanks guys! πŸ™‚ I’m hoping to get it for our 12 year anniversary coming up! Believe it or not, I found it on Etsy, and it’s only $1,498 for 1.25ctw. I didn’t think that was bad at all!

redearthlady :  Not a bit! Gabriel is his name and his shop is Justin’s Fine Jewelers. He has been incredible in helping me with all my insane questions and custom requests. I think I’ve settled on this one though, so I don’t have to go the custom route. I was undecided between this and one of the 5 stone rings he has, but I think this will be more proportionate and not overpower my engagement ring. This is an upgrade set and I think I’ll start with the wedding band because I love it so much! And because I can’t make a concrete decision for the e-ring. LOL

There’s another seller with a 6 stone, 1.5ctw for the same price, but I thought it might be too bulky for my shorter fingers. It’s only like half a millimeter wider, but that matters when you’re talking rings. This is the listing for the rose gold one I posted earlier. The seller sent me a real life photo of it.

I think any of these would look great with the OP’s ring! I love the halo and halo sets!
