Check out the Rosehill Community Center in Mukilteo (it’s just a short drive away from Seattle). The place is gorgeous and quite affordable! A close friend of mine is getting married there; otherwise I would’ve considered it myself! They allow outside catering AND you can bring in your own wine/beer (no hard liquor) as long as you have licensed bartenders and pay the $10 liquor registration fee.

Here’s a link to their website: http://www.ci.mukilteo.wa.us/page.asp?navid=193

I live in Seattle, but unfortunately know nothing about the venues avaliable.

Maybe you could sift through this list at The Knot here or this one at Mywedding here!

Sorry I can’t be more help, and full disclosure I know nothing about any of these venues as I have never used any of them, but maybe this is a great place to start! 🙂

I’m not sure about prices or availability, but you might check out Century Ballroom: http://www.centuryballroom.com/home/rentals/rental-information

Darling Husband and I used to go all the time for dancing, and I know they have different types of dancing many nights – but they also do weddings, and the large hall can fit 225-300 people based on the way you set up the room. And outside catering is allowed. 🙂

The only downside to this place is that parking can be a little difficult because there’s no lot – all street parking.

Here’s a photo I found of it on Google.

We’re getting married at Within Sodo! It’s going to be $2300 on a Sunday next summer and I know they have a capacity of 300 if you rent all the rooms.

I believe a Friday/Saturday would be around $3900. It’s right in South Seattle and has a gorgeous view. 🙂 Not sure about availability as we booked a few months back. I think if you’re flexible with the day of the week (Fri/Sun), they should have openings!

Check out the Georgetown Ballroom (georgetownballroom.com. They have funky style and require minimal decoration. Chairs/tables are all included. They are $4000ish (all inclusive of space/chairs/tables). You get the entire venue (one outdoor space that can be for outdoor seatings/outdoor ceremony if the weather is good..e.g. summer, 2 large indoor space/rooms whichyou can use each as a dance floor/ceremony and another for reception/food area). I think if you go for weekdays/sundays, they are cheaper, too!
