If you’re having an outdoor ceremony and an indoor reception, really the most people will be using the chairs (and they are indeed ugly) is like 30 minutes. Then they’ll be all forgotten! I can’t remember a single chair I’ve ever sat in at any wedding although I DO remember the weddings I had to stand.

Your something blue perhaps 🙂 I don’t think they are that bad, but I have a white/blue theme, so depends on your colour scheme.. they’ll only be sitting on them for the ceremony right? I wouldn’t worry about it. It’s not your fault. We have similar chairs for our ceremony but we’re having white chair covers without the sashes, can they not provide something similar if you’re really not happy with them..

what is your colour theme/wedding theme?

We had ugly chairs too. We needed some in a hurry with late additions so the venue got us some and they were horrid. We just kept the nicer wooden ones at the front and isle ends where they get seen and photographed and had the ghastly plastic numbers or the other ends and back.
Was it 100% Pinterest worthy – nope. Do I give two hoots about it now? Not at all. Much happier we spent the budget on nice wines and tons of entertainment – maybe some design worthy guests would have thought ‘oh dear’ at our plastic horrors but I think most guests enjoyed the booze and fun too much over a few naff chairs.
Youve gotta let this one go if it’s your only option. It’ll be fine.
