Hey Everyone, this is my first post im a newbie!! Stumbled across this site and thought you might be able to help with my dilema!
Is a 1.5 ct emerald cut centre stone (with a split shoulder pave setting) too big for a 3.5 sized ring??
Im petite, 5f,t size 0 and i had chosen a 1.2 ct centre stone originally however because of the split shoulder we thought the centre stone would be overpowered so opted for a 1.5….but im very nervous that this will look too big?? please help!
thanks a million guys 🙂

I don’t think so. I have a 1.6 ct center stone on my size 4 finger. The side stones are each .45 cts.

I think it’ll look great.

Welcome! I think it’ll look great, but it’s all about what you’re comfortable with. Have you tried on a stone of that shape/size? Even if it’s not the exact setting, it might help you get an idea of how big you want to go 🙂

there’s no such thing as too big when it comes to diamonds. I have a size 3.75 finger and my center stone is 2.1cts. It doens’t look too big at all.

I have a 1.5 ct on a size 3.5 finger and I love it! But it’s all about what you’re comfortable with.

I have a 2.1 cushion solitaire with a pave band and am the exact same size as you — 5″0′, size 0, ring size 3.5. I love it and don’t think it looks too big at all. But I agree with others that size is a personal preference and, like a dress, you really need to see it on you to know!

I think it will be perfect!! Be sure and come back and post pics!!

Its all in your preference. If you wanted to you could find people that said it was too big and too small. Its your choice.
