Edit: I do see an odd indent below your abdomen..not sure why it looks that way! However, your dress it truly beautiful!

PS. You have the perfect hour-glass figure, lucky! 🙂

I agree that it fits a little funny in the belly/crotch region. But I find that to be a common problem with fit n flare/mermaid/trumpet. Not sure if it’s because it’s too small or too tight or just not quite fitted right.

I’m not crazy about that indent near your crotch. So maybe if it was just a tad looser, it wouldn’t show that much.

I don’t think it looks too tight; I just think it’s hanging a little weird. Have you tried it with a Spanx? I LOVE those things.

I agree, not too tight but spanx might help solve that problem. I think a 6 would be too loose.

I think the lighting was harsh and made it look way worse than it it- IT’S GORGEOUS! you have such a pretty, femenine shape. Killer!!

As PP said, I think it’s a combination of the lighting and just a weird thing that happens with dresses of that particular cut. A good pair of spanx or something similar should fix it if you’re worried come wedding day (:

Also – have you made sure that you can comofrtably sit in the dress? I know taht can be an issue with that kind of cut.

You look INCREDIBLE! There are a lot of toys in the background… Have you had kids? Because you have the body of a sorority sister! You look SO amazing! And I don’t think it looks tight at ALL!

If you have had kids, it gives me hope for my future…

hmmmmm I don’t think it looks tight at all. In fact, I think it fits you pretty perfectly. But there is something odd going on in the stomach/crotch area that I can’t put my finger on.

I almost want to say there’s too MUCH fabric there …. but it’s not too big ….. the only thing I can suggest is to show the pic to the seamstress or whoever is doing your alterations and see what they can do.

It doesn’t look horrible or anything, but there is definitely something a bit odd. (not trying to make you paranoid or anything. I don’t think anyone would notice if you didn’t point it out).

The horizontal “pull” lines coming in from your hips do suggest that it’s not fitting correctly, but (as others have mentioned) a shaper underneath may be all it takes to smooth it out. Your seamstress may also be able to let it out at the hips just enough for the front of the dress to flow without pulling.
