Is the maid of honor supposed to wear a different style of dress then the other bridesmaids. One of my Bridesmaid or Best Man has already complaint and my Maid/Matron of Honor is on the fence… and I have no clue.

It up to you. They can wear the same or be different I’ve seen both. You’re the bride and what you say goes, or ask Maid/Matron of Honor what she wants and go with that.

i dont think there’s a right or wrong answer….it’s personal preference in my opinion….

If you want them to wear the same dress, then the Maid/Matron of Honor and the BMs should wear the same dress. If you want them to wear different dresses, then they should wear different dresses.

I’ve seen both. My Maid/Matron of Honor will be wearing the same style dress but in a different color.

It’s up to you. My Maid/Matron of Honor is wearing the same as my BMs

No you don’t have to have them wear different or have to have them wear the same. It is all up to you. My Maid/Matron of Honor will be in the same dress as my other Bridesmaid or Best Man, the only different dress is my JR Bridesmaid or Best Man

It’s totally up to you you. I gave all my bridesmaids the option of choosing any dress from a particular line/fabric and they all chose the same one, Maid/Matron of Honor included.

She can, but she doesn’t have to at all.

You get to choose, and they shouldn’t complain if they are the same OR different (that is, unless they cost a gazillion dollars or something like that).

I’ve seen it either way. I didn’t want my Maid/Matron of Honor to have a different dress, but I did get her different jewelry that ties in with the rest of the girls’ sets. That way she is still set apart from the others and has something special.
