I’ve been actively pinning for a long time now(well before I was engaged). I recently sorted out all my wedding pins and I’ve put together the ones that I feel most represent the look I hope to capture on my wedding day. My problem is I’m having a difficult time deciding what my theme is and even what my colors are….lol. I’m afraid it’s going to be this big mess of random stuff. 🙁
i know I want light pinks, neutrals, and light light greens does this pin board capture that?
After looking at my weddong board what sort of wedding would you say comes to mind? Theme? I need help!!

To me it does. Soft colors, a very romantic feel. It makes me think of a country/garden like setting with the light pinks and greens. Things definitely look like they coordinate and that you have a solid idea. I think you are doing just fine! It looks lovely.

Please also do remember that you don’t need a “theme”. As long as everything looks good together (and that is totally your opinion of what looks good) then you are golden.
My my theme was – wedding!

Romantic, rustic/vintage comes to mind. I think you nailed it. You don’t need to have a ”theme” when you have a color palette already, because it gives coherence to the whole decor. Your instinct will tell you what goes well with your ”theme” and what doesn’t.

I think romantic garden wedding but you don’t need a theme! I had shades of purples and pinks and had a beautiful garden wedding without a definite theme =) Just choose what you love!

Looks great to me, and I agree with what everyone has said so far about not needing a “theme” per se. I think it’s good to keep some consistency in different elements of the wedding. Use the same or similar fonts and graphics in your table numbers, programs, escort cards, etc. If you’re doing those painted vases I see, (coincidentally, I pinned the exact same photo for my wedding and painted vases myself) choose shades of paint that match something else in the wedding, like the bridesmaids’ dresses, for example. Keep a kit with paint and fabric swatches, printed graphics, etc. that you can take with you as you go shopping for the wedding so you can match colors. Good luck, it looks like it’s going to be great!
