It looks sort of short. Maybe more appropriate for a cocktail/passed hor dvoures reception? Although I would rather see you in it before I make a final decision :o)

I like it.  I also think that it would be formal enough with the right shoes and accessories.  

Dude, be comfortable.  NOTHING is worse then being in an uncomfortable dress and having to sit in it all night.

Since you said it’s not as short on you as it is on the model I think it is super cute! I agree with Mrs. Star, with the right accessories it will be perfect and chic for a formal nighttime wedding.
