How do they look to you? If you’re unhappy with the contrast, you need to speak up now.

How does your Fiance look in white? I know typically women care more than men about looking washed out by a certain color, but you may be able to appeal to his vanity.

Also, linen is a natural fabric and will take dye. Maybe you can dye the suits to match/complement the ivory of your gown without too much difficulty. Linen can be dyed in a washing machine – you can find instructions and dye recommendations on Google.

It doesn’t sound like it would look great together…but then again, I’d have to see a picture.  If you don’t care that it’s noticeable, then go for it! Otherwise do some convincing – maybe he could switch to a tan or khaki suit? πŸ™‚

I think white and ivory clash terribly.  But i’m a little biased as I’m in the middle of a dress disaster where i ordered an Ivory dress and they sewed on bright white applique. (sadface!)

I would photograph them side by side and see how it looks.  If you don’t like it, you may have to talk to Fiance.
