We would like to notify family and friends via snail mail that we are having a jack and jill party in lieu of a traditional bridal shower. My mom and Maid/Matron of Honor are putting the event together, and they would like us to mention the tickets will be $10 on the invitation and to RSVP to them with the number of tickets they would like. How can we go about doing this tactfully? I’m affraid that a few family members may not understand why they have to buy a ticket to our shower.
We also plan to spread the word by word of mouth and have our bridal party sell tickets as well. Would it be better to skip the invite all together and have our bridal party make calls?
