Typically having a large bust means you cannot wear certain styles, I don’t think you’ll find a suitable solution in your cup size.

I’m 32F and there are no options other than a traditional strapless bra that fits properly, support is not just for sagging its to keep your large bust in place which is absolutely necessary.. Not doing so looks sloppy.

Personally, I’d pick a more flattering dress style. Large busts and open backs are just not friends.

I’m also big-busted and wanting to purchase a dress with a low back. I was told by the seamstress at the dress shop that they don’t sew-in cups larger than a C, however, she recommended that I go to a speciality bra shop that can custom-fit a bra for me, altering it so that I can wear it with the dresses.

I’m a 36D and I have a low back dress. I haven’t talked to a seamstress yet, but I’ve heard of plenty of people having cups sewn into their dresses because of an open back. I would ask the seamstress at Davids if this is possible, they’d be the ones that would know…

sarah.margaretann:  They don’t sew cups in larger than a C cup. The option I was given for my sheer backed dress was to purchase a strapless bra from a specialty store and take it apart and sew the cups into the dress but it wouldn’t provide much support.. The support would have to come from your dress being altered to be as tight fitting as a bra would be! Which is not possible with no back on the dress.

I’m curious as to how this will work out because aside from getting a boob job.. I wouldn’t be able to wear anything backless and have a very similar bust size as OP.

Try doing this with your longline bra – just unhook the top hooks and fold it under. You could also talk to your seamstress about putting some simple loops in the back of your dress to tie around the back of your bra so it doesn’t start peeking out. I’m at 38 G and I’ve definitely done some weird stuff with my bras to keep them from showing with certain dresses/tops.
