Cookie cakes ROCK!  I would go chocolate chip.

Most stores just have cakes baked that day that they will write on for you.  I love Sams club and Giant Eagle cakes.  And obviously DQ has some of the best ice cream cakes.  I would just call ahead and they’ll have it ready for you.

@Josina:  you can def do Dairy Queen! They have cakes ready to go and write on them for you right then. I also like Stop and Shop cakes if you have that supermarket near you. I don’t know other supermarkets in Iowa, but I’d go with DQ or a supermarket cake. Supermarkets will do the same thing as DQ.

@Josina:  Cookie cake for sure. Those are amazing, and the leftovers (if there are any) keep well. Ice cream cake… not so much.

a DQ cake will probably cost more.  I know my local Giant has premade cakes also and if you ask they will write on them while you wait, and they are YUMMY !!  Walmart has premade along with Carvel ice cream cakes, ususally have some with happy birthday already on them, but they can get pricy.

@Josina:  GREAT AMERICAN COOKIE?! Why don’t we have great CANADIAN cookie…or anything that is great at all?! That is my vote because it sounds so awesome. Or ice cream cake, yum.

Cold stone cakes are the best! I love how they have regular cake AND ice cream in between. it’s amazing.
