when i ordered my bm dresses the swatch the bridal dress showed me was a different colour — b2 by jasmine, the company, updated the colour for 2010 and now it’s a brighter raspberry color (swatch i saw was wine)… my gown is ivory.
this is the closest i could find to the new color: http://www.jasminebridal.com/J_2_1_1_1.aspx?sqno=JPN2008092511197&j_style_no=STYL20080821006&j_line_no=LINE20080821017&j_line_season=F&forb=f
i’m having a hard time choosing colors to match overall and what linens to go with? would reallllly appreciate any help!
i was thinking white linens for the guest tables and satin silver or lilac for headtable to distinguish?
(we are doing one of those king table style rectangular head tables where the bridal party is facing each other rather than the one long table style with bridal party/everyone facing out to the guests.)
(it was suggested that we add two other tables like that for guests among the circle tables to break up the space, but dont know if those should be a different colour too or will look strange in white)
just need help choosing what colors to use and still keeping it affordable….
venue is at a marina restaurant, not a traditional banquet hall.

I think I might do ivory rather than white (somehow that seems better with warm tones). I don’t really like lilac with the raspberry. Maybe gold or champagne if they look okay with the ivory?

You could consider using solid color linens-white, ivory, or silver then top with ribbons to bring in your raspberry tone.I saw a very pretty table done using narrower ribbon in two colors. They used one ribbon of each color for each stripe and had two stripes perpendicular to each other.

What are your wedding colors? I like the idea of white guest tables with rasberry and silver accents (ex. ribbons like julies suggested, table runners, or table squares), and then a silver head table with raspberry and white accents.

we are having white draping for background and ceiling so will need to do white linens vs ivory, even though my dress is ivory. i just wanted to have the head table stand out from the rest, so think we will do silver satin linens for that.
i was told that our flowers can bring the color to the white tables…
for a dash of color we can also do lilac organza bows on the white guest table seats…unless there’s something else
not sure how else to bring in a raspberry accent…..
