I’m currently trying to hunt down yellow envelopes! They are harder to find that I first thought! Most places sell teal, brown and pink and orange, but not much yellow – more specifically a yellow gold tone, like marigold or sunflower…not bright yellow, but not dark either!
I’m trying to find them in the modified Baronial Flap style with the rounded points similiar to what they sell at "Paper Source" and at least in the A7 size or A7 outer envelope size!
I’ve looked at both PaperPresentation.com and Envelopperinc.com for them and while i like the type of envelopes they do offer (most other retailers or website only offer them in the standard "annoucement" style with the square flaps) they didn’t have the yellow (if any) that i was looking for!
Paperpresentation.com did have the astrobright papers with two yellows that I could potentially use, but the paper quality leaves a lot to be desired. It’s the same stock and weight of paper you’d find at office depot or at your local kinko’s!
I’ve searched high and low for "high quality" yellow envelopes to no avail…does anyone else have any ideas where I can get them? I’d prefer to order them online since it would be more convenient, but if not, anywhere in the orange county, california area would also be fine!
Your help would be greatly appreciated since I’ve been on the hunt for these for almost a year! And still no good leads!
Thanks to all in the hive!

Hello plgdstudio. I know nothing of the reliability of this site, but I totally think it’s worth investigating. Check out Spectrum: Gold–just a bit metallic. On my macbook screen, it looks like a good marigold/sunflowery yellow. It also has something close to the rounded modified baronial look I think you’re looking for.
I found it at Kate’s Paperie
I wish you well in your search!

I don’t know if you’re much of a DIY-er, but have you considered making them yourself out of high quality paper stock? Mrs. Penguin posted the other day about her Paper Source Envelope Template Kit. I’m not sure how much flexibility is offered for the flap style, but it might be an interesting option if you continue to have trouble finding a pre-made version. Good luck!

Thanks a bunch! I actually LOVE that Kates Paperie envelope, but I don’t think it’s bright enough for what I need.
And I’ve thought about making them myself (i’ve done this plenty of times a hundred times over)…I may just do this if I can’t find one I need — I’m just worried of the how much time I will need!
Thanks for your input. It’s been helpful! It actually reminded me that I meant to order that Envelope Template when I read Mrs. Penguin’s post!

I actually wrote a blog post devoted to envelopes a few weeks ago, haha…
I was able to find the perfect envelopes at the Envelope Mall, and you might find something there too!
