I’m not sure what it runs, but the Elizabeth Fillmore Sandrine would fit the bill. The Opera is GORGEOUS. It’s too bad they don’t make it anymore!

Second the WTOO Astoria… I tried it on and it was beautiful, though too low cut in the front for me. http://watters.com/Product/WtooBrides/17495/ It looks very similar to the Pronovias you love, with the fit-and-flare skirt. I know it was under $2k at the shop I saw (in CA), but don’t remember the price.

Good luck!

Sounds like custom made by a tailor is the way to go.

@mariavvisa:  The Sandrine is my FAVORITE dream dress, but it runs close to 5 grand…so its really expensive…and like I said a DREAM dress for me. 🙁 Im old fashioned too. I dont like bling. Love Lace. I feel like Im most likely going to find a strapless dress and have pretty cap sleeves made to fit it.

Are you 4-6 bridal, or 4-6 regular? If pronovias sizes small like most bridal does, that might get you close enough to make just buying the sample and altering in a sensible possibility.

You could still try on the ones with embellishments, and ask if you can order them without.  I know some brides have done that and it has also decreased the price when you don’t have to pay for hand beading.
