Hi Girls, so I need some help, I just ordered a Maggie Sottero Elliana, it’s a lace dress, and I ordered it in White but after reading some posts online I’m afraid it might be too ‘White’. Does anyone have pics of Maggie dresses in White, NOT Diamond White (mine only comes in white or ivory)
Here’s a pic of it on the model in Ivory, it looks very yellow/cream to me here so that’s why I automaticaly ordered white. but when I look back at pics of me in it at the store the Ivory looks very white…..
Here it is in Ivory (on the left) compared to an Allure in Ivory (on the right)…Is it just me or does the dress on the left look a lot whiter?

Maggie’s Ivory is a tad bit offwhite but you can’t tell. To me the white lace looks cheap. But the ivory looks like regular white. Her Ivory isn’t a true Ivory.

I’m also kinda pale so I’m really worried the white was a bad idea….

Is it too late to change your order? Personally I much prefer ivory over pure white, and I’m pale too.

They can hold the order for another week, I really want to go in and compare this dress in Ivory to another Maggie Sottero lace dress in White but they don’t have one…so I’m hoping other bees have some pics of Maggie lace in White NOT Diamond White(that option isn;t available for my dress:(

I purchased an Allure in Ivory and it looks white. The salon told me that the Allure Ivory is basically white and their white is very white.

I bought maggies Alana, which had lace. I really swore the sample was white, but they said it was ivory. I didn’t want it even more white, so I got the ivory. If the color of the sample looked good with your skin tone, I would probably call them and switch to ivory.

The one you’re wearing is really nice against your skintone. IMO the one on the mannequin is too white, it looks like chalk.

I have a lace maggie dress in ivory. I didn’t want an ivory dress, but it definitely looks white without being stark white (or too harsh). I recently saw an Alfred Angelo dress in ivory and it looked ivory – not like mine. So I would say Maggie’s ivory is definitely not a typical ivory – it’s basically white. I would suggest switching to the ivory, although I don’t think I’ve seen the white. I tried on the ivory, it looked like a soft white, and that was good with me. lol. good luck!

I don’t have a photo, but I have a maggie dress in diamond white. I saw one in white in the shop and it was a very stark white looking almost blue. Can you go to another shop to have a look? I think this is a difficult one as I don’t know if I would have wanted to get ivory either as originally I thought I would have a white dress.

I am a Tiny bit sunburnt here and not the best picture (and the dress is too big) But Maggies white (What i have) Is like paper white it is as white as white gets.

Hi I thought I’d leave a post as I too tried on the elliana in the ivory and didn’t realise this till I asked , as to me the dress looked white ! I ended up going for another sottero dress ( even though this one is stunning ) as I wanted strapless but I asked the advice of the shop owner and she said stick to ivory as maggie sottero’s white is VERY bright so if it was me I would ask to change if your not sure . Hope this helps and good luck x

I’m pale and I ordered Maggie Sottero Elliana in Ivory. Sample was also ivory. It really doesn’t look “ivory”…just a soft white.
