I have read just about every post regarding Maggie Sottero’s Kendra Dress (there’s a lot, so I know there’s Kendra brides out there!)… but I still need help! I have bought this dress and want to make it as full and poofy as it is on the model. I’ve seen old posts about this same thing and it seems a hoop skirt is the way to go but I’m hoping to hear from some recent brides; can you share what you used under this dress or under a similar shaped dress? Any and all advice is welcome! Please help!

@elizabethmarie101913: I haven’t got this dress but I’d say you definitely need a hoop.

@CatyLady: Definitely! Have you used hoop skirts before? I know pretty much nothing about them and haven’t a clue where to start!

@elizabethmarie101913: Yes, I had one after originally thinking I didn’t want one as I thought the hoop would bash against my ankles, but then realised I wanted poof! And with the weight of the dress it doesn’t bash your ankles.

@elizabethmarie101913: Did you wind up going with a hoop for this? If so, I was curious which style of hoop you wound up getting— I’m trying to decided myself! 🙂
