I tried searching old boards for this answer but they are so old and closed I figured I’d ask fresh in 2018.
Has anyone gotten swatches from Maggie Sottero or has their boutique provided any? My dress isn’t your typical white or ivory so I wanted to have the swatch when making decisions on the groom’s and groomsmen’s attire as well as hope my bridesmaid’s dresses (that were bought and paid for yesterday) work as well as they do on the stupid collage I threw together since my mom just decided today after decisions have all been made that she doesn’t think it all works… ughhhh

My understanding is that your retailer can ask for a swatch for you. They don’t deal directly with customer requests.

yea my retailer said that they don’t do swatches but since my dress isn’t a normal color they are going to do their best so I can try and match my grooms tie and make sure my bridesmaids match.
Leave it to a mother to decide your colors “don’t balance” the day after dresses are purchased.

Does the dress have a corset back? If so, you can use one of the sets of ties to use as a swatch – I did this just last week when we ordered the tuxes.

Hi sorry for the delay – it does on the inside but then it zips and buttons (i’m not getting out of that dress easily) My mom ended up getting a swatch from the shop, the the seamstress snipped it from the boutiques sample. I still don’t have the lace swatch but i’m over it now.
