Sorry for the sideways picture, don’t know why it uploaded like that. I have already ordered this dress in all white (Essence of Australia D1617) & a veil similar to the one I am wearing in the picture. Please help me accessorize! I will be wearing my hair half up, half down. I love statement necklaces and I will have a lot of vintage touches for the rest of my wedding…I just don’t know if a statement necklace would be too much with this dress. Any suggestions? 🙂

I think necklace with earrings will be very nice!

Hi! I ordered mine in ivory over oyster. I would love to hear feedback because I am in the same boat as you. I’m so unsure of what accesories to wear. I know I want a cathedral veil (but I dont know if I want bling/crystals/sequins on the edge of it or lace). I have a small diamond cross I am planning on wearing. I was thinking of statement earings and a small bracelet. The straps are thick so I’m wondering if a large bulky neckalce would look too much? You look stunning. Are you wearing something in your hair like a comb?

I agree about the straps – I’d say a more delicate necklace would be appropriate, and maybe a more stand-out bracelet or pair of earrings.

This is my dress too. I got it in ivory over Ivory. I think I’m just going to wear earrings and a nice bangle bracelet.

Thank you! 🙂 I Obsessed over this dress on Pinterest for months and was sure it wouldn’t be as great in person but fell in love when I put it on!
I am wearing a cathedral length veil too! I opted for something very similar to the one I’m wearing in the picture. It has small crystals and beading on the edge…I purchased mine online though for much cheaper than the one in the store. I figured I’m only going to be wearing it for pictures and the ceremony because it’s so long, so why spend $500 on a veil! The veil I tried on did have a comb, that’s how it’s attached to my hair. Then my mom insisted on me also putting a rhinestone and pearl headband on…which is probably what you are noticing. The veil comb was plain and the girl helping me positioned the headband so that it almost looked like part of the veil. Despite my hesitation at first to add the headband, I’m thinking of adding some similar details to the comb of the veil I bought.
Once my dress comes in I think I’m going to try different jewelry options. I really had my heart set on a vintage looking rhinestone necklace with smaller earrings but I will have to see if it’s too much. If anyone has picture of them wearing this dress with jewelry I’d love to see! 🙂
