wathenwedding17 :  your dress is beautiful on you!

You don’t need the sleeves at all, your arms are just fine as they are (not even sure what you don’t like about them but I get that we all have stuff like this).

That said, I love long sleeves on a wedding dress and it is a fall wedding and you want sleeves- so yes, get the extra lace and get it done. You will feel better and that’s worth it alone.

I love it! and I don’t think you need sleeves.

but like the PPs, if it will make you feel more comfortable, then you should just order the extra from the US, as long as you are ok with it not matching. For me, the nonmatching would bother me more than perceived arm issues. ๐Ÿ™‚

Beautiful dress. I think you do not need the sleeves. It is just your idea that there is some problem with your arms. I would keep it this way. Its fresh and young.

wathenwedding17 :  I am not a huge fan of my arms so I totally get it, but that dress is beauotiful and looks amazing on you. Your waist and bust look incredible, your hair is lovely, no one will be looking at your arms! I promise you ๐Ÿ™‚

You look gorgeous – no need for sleeves. I am a curvy girl and thought I wanted them too. But, you look stunning!! If you are still feeling like you absolutely want them, you could consider looking at a “topper” or wearing your veil in pictures. I think you picked a winner – no sleeves needed!

Alright, real talk here…your dress is BEAUTIFUL.  It is giving me a bit of dress regret about my own dress.  I originally wanted cap sleeves then ended up getting a dress very similar to yours but with an illusion neckline, which I do love, but I digress…  I have similar arms to you.  I am a small person generally but if I have ANY extra weight (even 2 lbs.) I feel like you can see it in my upper arms.  I have always been jealous of people with skinny upper arms, which sounds kind of crazy when you type it out like that.  Anyway, to get ready for my wedding, I got a pair of 5 lb. weights and have been doing this arm workout video on youtube (“Xhit total arm workout”, the instructor is British and very peppy and the video is only 12 minutes long).  After doing it maybe 5 times I could already tell a difference in my arms and shoulders.  You’ve got plenty of time before your wedding to do a bit of toning and I promise you will love your arms by then.  They’ll still look like your arms but a little more shapely.  I think the biggest change is knowing that they’re stronger makes you feel better about them, but that’s what really matters.  If you feel pretty, you’ll look pretty. ๐Ÿ™‚

The dress is wonderful on you sleeves are not necessary.  If you want then use gloves at this late date OR what about illusion fabric with some of your lace trim that you have?

I like it just the way it is.  No sleeves needed.

But, the sleeves are pretty also.

Both ways are great. Honestly, I like the dress sleeveless best. You look absolutely super in the dress. If you’re worried about a chill, how about a throw/shawl/stole for outside? Inside, you’re good to go. The design is balanced and very pretty. Maybe you’re just nervous? Try on some different lipsticks, shoes or hair accessories to keep yourself distracted. Congrats on your upcoming wedding. ๐Ÿ™‚

I much prefer it without sleeves. You look great as is! Don’t sweat it.
