    How many people are you having at your wedding? I’d say if you had 50 or under, I’d go with a caricaturist. If you have more than that I’d go with the photobooth. Otherwise you’re going to have people waiting in line to get a drawing of themselves instead of paying attention to you/the reception. The photobooth will only take about 1 minute.

    I would vote photobooth. You can always get a scrapbook and have guests glue in their second frames with handwritten messages. Then you both can look back at the fun of the night.

    @1112bride:  lol it could work out that way, especially if you have an older crowd. But I know if I saw a cariacturist I would definetely wait in the line to have my picture drawn.

    I also looked at having a caricaturist, but it doesn’t make sense for my 200 guest wedding. The site I looked at said the caricaturist can do 12-15 caricatures per hour. I would need multiple artists and still then, not everyone could get theirs done.

    Photobooths are much quicker and everyone loves them. I don’t think they’re overdone.
