I am so torn! I can’t choose which one I like best. We got an awesome financing deal that makes the overall payments between the two very small. But thinking about the overall cost has my stomach churning. I never wanted to spend that much on a ring – but I totally deserve it and SO keeps reminding me of that.
So, which do you like best? Should I “go big or go home”? Will I regret not taking the plunge if I choose the smaller one?

Are the specs on the diamonds similar? I would go smaller if the diamond is higher quality, because I think that size still looks great on your hand!
The larger stone is a stunner. If it’s a great diamond and you can get it for almost the same payments, go for it!
I guess what I’m trying to say— so long as you’re not (noticeably) sacrificing quality to get the bigger stone, go with the bigger stone!

Personally, I like the one with the narrower pave band better. I’m not a huge fan of the chunky pave, I think it distracts from the center stone. But if that’s where your heart is pulling, go for it! I don’t think you’ll regret either one.

The larger one is AMAZING! Both look beautiful but the larger one is def a show stopper

If there’s a way to get the bigger diamond in a setting with the thinner band, I’d say do that!

spendabuck85 : Exactly my thought!
ncmermaid : settings can be ordered for any size diamond. You just have to wait for the setting to come in and for the diamond to be set. I prefer the thinner band but the larger diamond.

Thinner band, larger stone!

I like the thinner band better.

The one on the left (knuckle, smaller) is beautiful.
Edit: The left has FIRE. Shine baby shine! I can see the appeal of the larger stone but the left seems higher quality. The one on the right (closer to hand) almost seems gray and loses the light. The larger band is also chunky and distracting.

I personally think the one on the knuckle is a much prettier ring and stone!

I like the top one (knuckle) “ the best”; they are both so stunning

Love the thinner band!!! But you can’t go wrong either way. Nice choices!
