We’re less than four weeks out from our wedding, and I still don’t have a wedding band. I’ve been procrastinating (and also just really busy), and I think at this stage my best bet is to order from Blue Nile.
This is my engagement ring, it’s the Tiffany Ribbon ring:
Because the e-ring is already quite ornate (for me at least), I’m after a relatively classic, simple wedding band. At first we were looking at shared settings, but I think we’ve settled on a 2mm half circle channel-set diamond/platinum band. This T&Co one is pretty much perfect:
But we don’t really feel like paying Tiffany prices for such a generic/classic design, and have decided to order one from Blue Nile. Trouble is, I don’t have a good idea of what these Blue Nile rings look like in real life…and to be honest can’t really tell the difference between them. What’s the difference between the Cathedral setting and the regular setting?
Which do you think would be the closest to the Tiffany version? If any Bees own any (or similar Blue Nile) rings, I’d love to see them!

I have the petite cathedral pave and love it! It is really thin, but fits perfectly under my e-ring. It stays clean (some I find get really junky) and sparkles like crazy. It is also great to wear alone.

I think the tiffany one matches best..also why not have your whole set be tiffany & co!! You said its perfect so my guess is you like it best too! But I understand not wanting to pay extra money for a such a simple style ring..so in that case my choice would be the 3rd blue nile ring..I think it resembles the tiffany one most. Go with what feels right to you..goodluck!

That is a difficult decision because the tiff matches great but that catherdral one is OoOoh shiny!

I just noticed that the Tiffany ring is a channel set style, whereas the Blue Nile ones are pave/bead-set. Looking at my e-ring, the band is actually the latter…which might mean the Blue Nile rings would go better. Hmm, decisions!

Decided to play it safe and opted for the Tiffany’s Grace band in the end. Very happy with it (and trying to resist wearing it before the wedding):
