I picked the Innocence Stripe. Its very simple and I cannot forsee anyone getting tired of it!

My #2 choice is the Vera

I like the simplicity and classicness of the Waterford. It also allows you to interchange table settings very easily. The Vera is too busy for me and the last one too ‘girly’.

I love how the patterns on the Vera Wang are slightly different but look so good together and unique instead of all the same pattern.

OP, I wouldn’t worry too much about the cup shape…you probably won’t even use your fine china much. But if it bothers you that’s okay too…I was the same with bowls. 🙂

The Vera Wang looks similar to mine, the Vera Wang Lace pattern. I think it is classic and something that can look so years from now, as well. After that I like the Lenox Opal Innocence Stripe .

@stardustintheeyes:  you like the Waterford. I can sense this from afar. 😉

(damn, now I am sad that I didn’t register. Although I have no place to store it. Meh, details!)

I prefer the “squatty” coffee cup because it is much more sturdy/secure when its at a place setting.  We have 2 sets of china – one with a cup thats like the vera and one that is more like the others you have. and i use the squatty shape more and always feel much more confident with it!

One of my “dainty” cups broke the day we got it from falling over!

I love the Vera Wang! It’s classic but still has a bit on interest in the pattern. I think it’s a pattern that won’t look really dated.
