I can’t decide on the design I have created to put on my runner. We are doing an outdoor vintage rustic inspired theme.
For all of the other paper stuff I have used a monogram I made on WeddingChicks.com but I am afraid that it will be to much to put on the runner.
This is the monogram from Weddingchicks

option 2 for sure! its elegant and pretty, perfect for an aisle runner. the other two are more for like a dance floor (more modern and fashion)

I would use the same WeddingChicks monogram, only simplify it a bit to make it easier to do.( I am assuming this is a DIY)

@julies1949: Yeah , it is a DIY. I am just afraid that I wouldnt be able to do all the detail when painting it. I am not artistic at all. How could I simplify it?

Print the monogram on a transparency. Pin your runner up on the wall. Project the monogram onto the runner with an overhead projector.
Draw in the main lines. Leave out the extra curlicues etc. For example leave out the lines outside the part that is striped. Leave off the pattern to the of inside the striped section.
It will be easier to decide what to leave off when you are seeing the design on the wall.
Then paint your design.
