    are they all excellent cuts?

You’re not going to see any size difference between the 1.02 and 1.06.  I’d probably go with the 1.02 if I were you, given the cut was excellent.

Also, if you can see them in person chose that way. You should really chose a diamond for its beauty, not its specs!

@mandanjoe:  I’d guess there’s something to the light return. Do you have the item numbers?

The .9 is costing more because it is F color.

Number two seems like the better option. Like a PP said you will really not be able to tell the difference between 1.02 and 1.06

Definitely #1!  F color and less included?  That would definitely be the winner for me.

Also, great taste – I have the petite pave setting from BN as well, and love it 🙂

I’d go with the first it has the best stats provided the cut is the best. .16 size difference will not be overly noticible the color and clarity will however.

@mandanjoe:  Do you have them on hold? The website says they are not available for purchase.

The first one has amazing color and better clarity than the others. It’s my choice among these three.

That said, if this is my budget, I’d probably look for a G VS2 that has the other specs you’re also looking for. I am clarity-sensitive and I like to get into the VS zone when it’s possible. G is a very nice color and VS2 is a very nice clarity grade, and I think this is possible for your budget.

I don’t know if you feel the same way I do about the clarity/color tradeoff point, and if you don’t know either, I suggest you look at a variety of stones of the clarity and color grades you’re considering at a local jewelery store (or several, store-hop) before deciding.

@mandanjoe:  DEFINITELY- the first. The light return measures much better than number 2. So even though its a teeensy bit smaller, it’s going to look just as big.
