I like dress #1. Make a poll!!! Bees love polls.

Just looked at the prices. Dress #2 looks prettier now 😉

I was on a very tight budget and had the same issue with falling in love with 1,000+ dresses and wanting to spend 100. I eventually found the most amazing dress that my Mother-In-Law happened to have. Personally I don’t like the appliques on the second dress and you’re right about the longer train. It seems you also want a few changes with the second dress and that might not be very expensive to alter. I’m concerned with how you would extend the train. A seam would show and not look very good if you tried to stick chiffon on the end. If it’s out of your price range or can’t be properly modified, I would wait and shop around more until you find something you’re really happy with.

I think they are both unique, but I prefer dress 2! The wasitline looks much more flattering and elegant.

@ComputerLove06:  That sounds like a great idea. Even if it’s too big a hassle to do #2 is a really stunning dress. You can’t go wrong with it!

#1 – love the neckline. I love everything about it.

#2 – not doing it for me, it looks like a bridemaids dress

I’ll bet, if dress 1 is your favorite, it would be pretty easy to recreate.  Get a dress that is straight across, like the picture.  Then, take it for alterations and have the chiffon attached from the bust line, over one shoulder, and down the back.  It’s stunning, and yet it’s a simple design.  Perhaps this might work?

In any case, both are beautiful!
