I am new to wedding bee but decided to join because I am having trouble deciding on a wedding gown. Our wedding is going to be held in a beautiful church followed by a reception at a historic ballroom. It will be a “grand” occasion, so I am trying to keep that in mind when choosing a gown. I am a size 4 bridal gown, so it has been hard to envision what the dress will look like with clamps, etc. They are not the greatest pics. but I am hoping you will be able to help in making the big decision! Thank you!!!!
1. Enzoani Blue – Dabra
2. Maggie Sottero – Micah (this was NOT put on me properly in the photos but I tried it on in my size at a later date and it was stunning) and if you know this gown, there’s a beautiful brooch on the side that is not shown in these photos. I added the model photo.
3. Enzoani Blue – Elkhart

I like the first one best, most unique!

I voted for 2 because I love the fabric– But also love #1!

I like #1 or #2. Seems to me #1 will be much harder to bustle for a reception, so if that factors in, you may want to consider it (or ask lots of questions of brides with similar gowns). I always think that silk/satin looks amazing for really formal affairs.
Which one made you happy? Forget the venue, forget the clamps… which one made you think “Oh! Look at me! I’m a bride!”

My fav. out of the choices would be: 1. Enzoani Blue – Dabra
I love the fabric and the draping. I bet it’ll look even better when hemmed. The back is of it is also breathtaking.

I love lace and tulle Enzoanis. Number 1 all the way!

I feel #2 is the most “grand” but #3 is my favorite. Probably because I have never seen it before!

Love #1 very formal for your church and ballroom

My favorites in this order: Dabra, Elkhart, Micah.

I choose dress #2 because it really compliments your figure and it haa a real grand regal look to it!

love the Enzoani Blue – Dabra on you!

The first one definitely.

Thanks to all of your thoughtful input!!! I appreciate it!!! Well, here’s my opinion on all 3:
Dabra – Gorgeous but I wish it was more flattering up top at the bust line. I think it will photograph the best. It’s romantic and feminine but I also wish the tulle had a little finish or hemline, so it’s not as rigid on the edges. $1,595
Micah – Classy and “rich” in person but I am not a fan of the “bubble” train and type of pick-ups that are on the back (which you can’t see in the photos I took). I tried this on today in my size and it was sooo flattering when it’s fitted but I wasn’t allowed to take pics. The brooch is fabulous, too. $1,198
Elkhart – Love the shape and simplicity of this but there’s no bling and it’s almost too simple, so I’m leaning towards 1 or 2… Just looking for the “wow” factor.
