#1. stella york 5504 – very pretty but not as flowy as i’d hoped, and adds a little extra fabric in the hip area. also note that the top of this sample is ripped so it would look better once i ordered a new dress. this is my favorite silhouette of the three, as i’d want the next two to be more fitted and less poufy.
#2. wtoo catalina – PLEASE NOTE she had the crinoline rolled up inside to show what it would look like with less pouf, so the roll under my stomach is actually rolled up fabric. please try to imagine this more fitted to my body and more a-line. this was so luxurious in person and had a real “wow” factor. not sure what i was doing with my arm in the second picture so ignore that haha. just nervous that this might be too much fabric and too much glitz for an outdoor wedding, but i do love it and the seamstress made it sound like she could make it MUCH more flattering once everything was taken out. this one really did look better irl :/
#3 justin alexander 8690 – again i would take out all the pouf, and would go with a different belt. the fabric of this dress was amazing, so flowy, but it doesn’t photograph as flowy as it felt in real life, and may look a little too satiny/formal for what i had in mind.
i honestly love all three dresses and can’t decide…and i’m pushing my luck with ordering a dress on time! i wanted to have my ~say yes to the dress~ moment but i just haven’t had it, and i’ve gone to FIFTEEN STORES (sidenote: if anyone wants dress shopping recs in the chicago burbs, i’ve got em!)…needless to say, i’m ridiculous haha. i’d be happy with any of these, though! i thought i was in love with watters’ austin but it just didn’t flatter me like i’d hoped. 🙁 thanks for any help you can give me! this is our venue if it helps: http://www.themorafarm.com

HOnestly, those dresses are all very similar and all look beautiful on you! I can’t really vote because I really think it would come down to what the fabric looked like in real life that would make the difference. Based on your comments, I would say either the second or third dress since you were much more positive in those descriptions. Good luck!

I like the second one the best. I prefer the way the top is. It’s really pretty!

To be honest, I don’t think any of them are perfect exactly. I think the stella york dress is almost there … it looks beautiful on you.

@ering586: I voted for the first one because I like how fitted the bodice will be once it’s a new dress in your size. I like the shape and don’t think it adds anything to your hips — I think the shape is actually very flattering on you!
My second choice would be the third dress.
When it comes to picking just one dress, I always think: is there one that you’re kinda sorta hoping wins the poll? Would you be disappointed if you have to walk away from one of these dresses? If you feel that way about any of these, then THAT’S your dress!

I voted for the first dress. My next choice would be 3 but I dont love it. I dont care for the middle one at all.

I picked #3. It’s the hardest to see the fabric clearly (in terms of the pictures) but I really like the top. So flattering!

@letigre: thank you!! i really am trying to soul-search but i’m *the* most indecisive person in the world. i came very close to buying all three, to be honest. i’m hoping this post gives me some clues tomorrow when i wake up. i’m a stress-case over this right now!
going to bed now but thanks to everyone who’s replied so far!

@mylittleviolett: what do you think is missing? should i try a different shape? my friends and family did like the more fitted styles but i think i like the a-line shapes better…
four more just to show i have tried on every dress in the world haha
^^ my butt did look bangin in this one but i didn’t feel comfortable at all. idk! dress shopping has been the worst part of wedding planning so far ahh

I like the Wtoo the best. The fit of all 3 dresses are practically the same, but I love the sparkle on the wtoo. Just imagine how amazing it would look outside when the sun hits it!

I vote for Justin Alexander or keep looking. I like the idea of the Wtoo, but there’s something off about the shape. Good luck!

@ering586: One thing to keep in mind is for the ones you said “well this looks better in real life” the dress WILL be photographed. I based my decision on what I loved on me plus what it looked like on my (crappy iPhone) camera, just because I wanted to be sure I picked something that I’d love in photos too. Your photographer will most likely be able to capture much more of the detail, but if you really feel like one or more of them were really “blah” on camera versus in person it’s something to factor in.
I voted number 3, the shape seems to suit you better…but I love the sparkle in number 2 🙂

they are all quite similar but it comes down to how they fit on your body . At first I liked the first one thenI really looked at the rest and the second one is my favourite .. it seems to fit you perfect everywhere ,especially when its made properly. And I do not think it would be “over the top” for your outdoor wedding. it will just make you look that much more “wow” and more gorgeous ( but you already are ) .
