Yeah I tried on Mori lee 5101 very similar to Maggies Divina. It was just barely over budget, and my mom didn’t like it as well. But I’m afraid it would take too long come in and leave little room to get it tailored. It was surprisingly light tho! Very beautiful dress.

So I thought I should update you all if you were wondering … I bought the Mori Lee from bridal expressions online and they had my size so once my order was placed they said I should have my dress in 2 weeks. Two weeks seemed to crawl for the first time throughout this wedding planning process! I got my dress 2 weeks later as promised! What an awesome deal, free shipping, got it in 2 weeks and saved $220 by not ordering thru the salon (not to mention I wouldn’t have gotten it until May and my wedding is in June! )

@boukie2: The 5101 was a gorgeous dress but I didn’t care for the asymmetrical part of the dress.

The Mori Lee looks amazing on you! 🙂

@boukie2: The Mori Lee looks great on you and you could have it in less time (the price isn’t a huge difference). Though I’m with you on the “plain” bottom and wanting to have a fun skirt. Could you have the seamstress add something to the skirt of the Mori Lee? It would add to the cost but maybe some flowers and ribbon/fabric like on the Ian Stuart:

I love the Mori Lee on you! I’ve never done a custom anything really, but I personally would be a little nervous that it wouldn’t be exactly what I wanted.

I’m gonna’ go against the vast majority and say the custom one looks prettier, is more unique, and is my favorite. 😉
