I love the 1st and second. They are unique and give the ring a nice romantics vintage feel.

Shesaidyes:  I really like the hexagon setting. And just to comment on a band sitting flush- this was really important to me too, so my jeweler made sure to make my setting a little high and with cathedral shoulders to accomodate a band. I think I would look great with the hexagon setting as its a bit like a halo. Here’s a side view of my rings. My engagement ring is still low enough that it hardly gets caught in anything.

I love the hexagon setting. You could add a simple delicate thin pave set diamond wedding band for bling and it would only have a very small gap, which I actually love – But I know it’s not for everyone.

The first and second are the prettiest.  Choose a wedding band that you like and see which of these rings would look the best with it.

Shesaidyes:  you need to choose something that looks good on its own or with an engagement ring, and will stand many years of wear.  Assume that you will lose 0.1mm of gold in width every 25 years.  The first band looks great but check how secure the diamonds are.  A bit of wear and they’ll fall out.

I would suggest that you spend a bit more money and get a really well-made wedding band. Try it on in person so that you get exactly what you want.

I think that the ring designs are dainty enough that you could pair a simple band with any of them! I like one and two best, but perhaps I’m biased because I have a hexagon shaped setting for my diamond as well 🙂
