Mine has some very tiny side diamonds, but the center stone is the emphasis. I found w/ the solitaires I really liked a decorative band/cathedral setting because it gives it a little more intrigue.

Mine is a 0.72 carat/I Colour/VS1. The setting is very similar to the first ring you posted. My ring is a size 6.

I prefer the cathedral setting, I’m biased because that’s what mine is. I did use to have a low set basket solitaire and it was beautiful but it didn’t allow a wedding band to sit flush with it like a cathedral setting would.

Won’t post pics since my ring’s a 6-prong and you’re looking at 4, but I’ll just say that I would personally go for the cathedral. It’ll make the stone sit up a bit higher (which I think, for the carat size you’re looking at, is a good thing).

Post pics when you get it!

Here’s mine, just under a carat, Tiffany setting. I much prefer choice A but they’re both lovely!

I very much prefer a cathedral setting, which makes it relatively easy to find a band that will sit flush.

Cathedral. It is simple but not AS simple as just a band with a stone stuck on it (as th first one is). I have had both settings at some point and I prefer the cathedral. The ‘arms’ draw your eye up to the stone and the stone sits higher which looks great!

here’s mine – kinda like a cathedral but a sort of trellis instead of v prongs.
