Hey bees. I’ve been obsessing over wedding rings for ages but just can’t make up my mind. I’ve been off work sick for the last two days so I need some rings to distract me from the misery!
Which of these styles do you think will look best?
Here is my engagement ring (.51 F-G VS1-2 trilogy)
1 -twist/infinity style with diamonds:
2. Low profile shared prong half eternity:
3. Channel set millegrain ( i don’t like plain channel set but i think this is pretty):
4. Bezel set ( this one has a cool twiggy design to the back):
I want something quite dainty that won’t overpower my e-ring and I don’t want to spend more than £400, I think that’s around $650?
I’m open to buying stuff online from etsy or the states, shouldn’t cost a lot to ship. I don’t think high street jewellers in the UK have much choice and independent ones tend to be very expensive so if anyone has any other ideas from etsy that would be fab.

I picked #3 Channel set millegrain, I think it will sit beautifully with your e-ring and not over power it 🙂

I love the shared prong. It’s a bit hard to judge without seeing any of these options next to your e-ring, but in my head I think the channel set might pack a little too much punch bulk wise.

I also think it’s hard to tell without seeing the bands next to your e-ring.
I voted for the prong set, and I think that style would look best next to your ring if the diamonds lined up evenly with the diamonds on your e-ring, rather than a band of diamonds that goes all the way across the top half of your finger.
Have you been to a jewelry store yet to try on similar examples of those bands with your e-ring? If not, that would be my advice to you.
When I was trying to decide on a wedding band, I pored over hundreds (maybe even thousands!) of pictures of bands online. I had dozens of examples bookmarked on my computer and felt overwhelmed. But then I went to a jewelry store and tried on examples of those bands. Some of the styles that I had fallen in love with online — actually didn’t look that great next to my e-ring, IMO.
For example I was really obsessed with baguette bands. But when I saw them up close, they didn’t sparkle as much due to the way they are step cut.
I also was maybe 80% sure I wanted a twisty infinity band like the one you pictured. I’ve seen some Bees who have that style and their sets are gorgeous. But that style ended up looking too busy next to my e-ring.
On the other hand, I was surprised at how much I loved a simple, round brilliant cut prong set eternity band. It was just the right thing for me.
Good luck with your search!

I’ve tried a couple on, but high street jewellers here are really limited so I took to the web instead. I did like how the prong band looked on my finger but I was worried it might be a little bit boring.

I voted for the shared prong, just lovely!

Do you have the dimensions of the stones of those rings? The only thing I would be worried about would be if the stones are of similar size to the smaller ones on your ering, how that would look?
But then again I’m biased to twist and plain bands

@nicci218: First of all I LOVE your engagement ring…but that is probably because I have basically the same one lol. Here is my set if you are interested, good luck choosing yours!

@tbskelly: that’s really pretty, where is your band from?
@Mrs.SleepyKitty: I didn’t but I just measured, the band is 2mm, smaller stones are 3mm and the centre stone is just over 4mm. So I think if the wedding band is 2 mm then that will look ok.

Tough desicion as they are all so pretty! I think 1, 2 or 4 would look best with your ring. I’m going to vote 4 just because it’s so cool, especially with the “inside” secret twig pattern.

Lovely e-ring! My vote was for the milgrain, but I think #2 would be great too. #2 looks a lot like my band:

@nicci218: i bought my band at a local jewelry store in new hampshire. i spend more then you are looking to spend however, mine came out to be about one thousand us dollars.

I have a three stone and picked a bezel eternity, so that’s what I voted for. I love them together! 🙂
