Maybe it would help for you to decide what look you are going for- do you want a more romantic, grand, sweet 50s look? Or do you want the more minimal, chic look?

Is there any way you could get the 2nd dress fitted and then decide? Or would that just be too much a waste of money?

@Evi: Yeah I understand, it would be a waste of money if you didn’t end up wearing it…

I’m sorry this is so difficult! Maybe you need to take some time away from thinking about it, and try them on again in 10 days to clear your head!

Wow, I love both of the dresses! I’d say the ballgown because it just seems to have something extra that the second dress doesn’t have. Either way, you look great in both! What type of wedding are you having?

I also think #1 looks better on you. The second dress’s top is not very flattering.

I think that #2 is far more figuring flattering than #1. I have a hard time envisioning #1 in Greece than I do of #2. #2 seems perfect among old cities and ancient ruins. My vote’s for #2.

@Evi: You could always wear a shrug or something similar during the ceremony, then take it off for the reception and pictures.

@brox: Just gotta pop in and say that Athens as a city is not occupied by mostly ruins and old buildings- there are many modern buildings and also many reception venues that would perfectly suit a ballroom gown…

but it is a good question as to where exactly the wedding will take place, and which dress would suit it more?

Love all the photos and read through the comments…Dress #1 seems more wow! to me.  But if you had envisioned yourself in a slimmer gown, don’t discount that little voice. How you feel is much more important because you look lovely in both 🙂

@Evi: Hey, you’re back. 😉 I know number 1 is the most popular but I think 2 would look great after alterations so it was more fitted andI think it would look fab with a veil.

@Evi: Yes you do look lovely in both, and you can feel better knowing that with either choice you will still look beautiful!
