@Evi: You know, the more I look at 2, the more I love it, especially the second picture where you’re hodlding it closer to your body. I think it’s more Grecian.

@Evie19: When I first saw you on here I thought you were Evi so it’s funny that you’re both in Athens.

@CatyLady: Haha, I know it is funny! And Evie isn’t really as common a name as Sophia or Maria let’s say…:)

@Evi: Just to give you some perspective…even when we brides CHOOSE and BUY our dress…we all still have anxiety about it and wonder if we made the right decision…so you may not feel 100% convinced until the day of your wedding when you are all done up and you’ll feel like a princess no matter what!

Also, have you considered wearing the ballgown to the church, and the slimmer one to the reception?

@Evi: Aw bless you, you’ll figure it out. My 5 pence, or 5 euros worth in your case, is that I love the slimmer one on you, I know i’ve already said this but it looks more coutoured and shows off your silhouette and that’s before alterations. Plus, you could wear a cathedral length veil (join the club that I never thought i’d join) and how great would that look with your dress, it would add a bit of drama and look elegant. Youd be a Greek Goddess 😉

@Evi: Yes I imagine that it would appear more “special” here maybe to just enjoy and wear one dress…

I agree with Prewitt, a long veil could really add romance and glamour to the slimmer dress.

@Evi: I agree about wearing your dress for as long as possible, you’re only going to do it once, we think the same thing in England. I’m having a Cathedral veil and I didn’t think it’d would look right either, but it looks great and I think in your case it would be very Grecian.

@Evi: The whole 40s look would be really glam too!

But I totally would love a long chapel length or catherdral length veil, yes. I think it would work- you do not need a ballgown dress to rock that kind of veil.

I’m kind of biased though because I usually lean towards a more romantic look rather than a chic look- but both ways of accessorising would be nice!

@Evie19: & @Evi: That’s the other word I was looking for Romantic, you’d look very Grecian and Romantic. I’m also biased towards the Romantic look.

Yes, and another thing to consider is that the romantic look will stll be in fashion many years from now, whereas the 40s look may not…but I’m not really sure about that- maybe I’m wrong.
