I will tell you that I used to have a high-set ring, and it was a pain in the booty!! So consider doing every day tasks while wearing it. Just keep that in mind.

mrl201020 :  The two rings are equally high set. #1 is too thin a shank for pave, so I prefer $2.  If you customize anything with MoCo, it become non-returnable, so bear that in mind. Try to find something stock in case you don’t love it. Palladium, like its family member platinum, will be better than gold at holding onto the pave diamonds. So, I recommend it.

This is there low-set and very similar to the above absent the decorative basket. It will require a slighty curved band to fit flush.

mrl201020 :  I stand corrected! There is a slight height difference.

Both will catch and snag, I’m afraid. I do recommend bearing that in mind if you have the intention of wearing it everyday. So many bees relegate their rings to their jewellery boxes because they’re a pain to wear.

But congratulations on getting engaged! Have fun ring shopping!

I have a high setting & it doesnt get in my way at all (it was a must as I dont fancy low settings for me). My best friend’s solitare sits just as high as the first one you posted & I’ve never heard her complain or seen her without her ring on. It really depends on the person & their usage when it comes to that type of thing. Maybe try getting a cheapo ring that’s set as high as those & see how it works for you? The first one is flipping gorgeous, I must say. That’s my vote. 🙂
