Hey everyone! So I’m really torn between these two rings. I’ve loved the halo setting for forever but I also really like the solitaire look. And with these two rings the stone in the solitaire is a 1.5 ct F1 H&A moissanite, whereas the halo is a FB 1.3 ct stone. So the solitaire has a much higher quality stone. And I can get her solitaire in 950 Palladium which I am told is a lot better and more durable than white gold. I was thinking that I could always reset the stone from the solitaire into a halo setting at a later time if I wanted but I’m not sure. My sister also hates the twisted look of the solitaire band for some reason so just looking to see what others think. 🙂

I like the halo much more!

I’m afraid I agree with your sister; there’s nothing about the solitaire that I like(!) But it’s all personal preference. I would be surprised if you wanted to swap out your stone once it’s yours, though plenty of people do.

I like the solitaire better =)

I love how different the solitaire looks with the twist so many people have halos these days

I don’t like the solitaire, so the halo is an easy pick.

I think the twist band is unusual and more risky. I don’t like it personally BUT everyone has different taste.

Everyone gets a halo ring nowadays. Be different and get the twisty band, I personally like it and haven’t seen much like that!

The solitaire is beautiful! Everyone has their preference though; I’m not big on halos. I think the more important thing to keep in mind is what your SO would prefer.
Also, if you like the halo but can’t afford to get the F1 stone you should look into getting the F1 near-colorless if you aren’t already. Jewelers have told me that there is very little to no visual difference between the F1 colorless and F1 near-colorless stones despite the price difference.

For anyone wondering I got the solitaire and I’m so happy I did, I like simplicity and variety of bands that look good with it. The halo would’ve been too much once I added wedding and anniversary bands. And the H&A stone is beautiful!

Gonna be honest, I’m so over the halo. I don’t like how they look in profile. I’d originally wanted a very thin halo that sat half underneath the main stone, but I love the solitaire sooo much more.
Your ring is amazing!!!! So pretty!!!

I love your solitare, it looks beautiful on your hand. I did love the halo too, I have that ring myself.
