Hello ladies!
Well guess what? I’ve been proposed to! It was a sentimental and heartfelt proposal embedded in a lovely restaurant with an amazing downtown LA view. Everything was perfect… except that there was no ring! My lovely -and future hubby-, Mr. C, thought it was best if I choose the engagement ring myself. As i’m very particular with my taste (and perhaps a little control freak), I was delighted! So we went to a couple of stores and after browsing at endless look-a-likes that weren’t convincing, I went to a store in Los Feliz, “Liza Shtromberg Jewelry” where a friend got his wife what I thought was an unique engagement ring.
I could post here pictures of rings that I loved at Liza’s all day but I narrowed it down to the top three. Please help me choose the style! I think I have my favorite and i’d love to have your take on it, wedding bees!

THANK YOU SO MUCH! Looking forward to your replies.

FutureMrsClaydon: I voted for Option 3 because it is so unique. Some bees may say that rose gold is a trend and may be out of fashion in a few years, and for this reason I know white and yellow gold will always be classic. I love the yellow gold and how the diamond is set. To my eye, it is much brighter and sparklier than the others and will really stand out. 🙂

Thank you so much for your opinion Peacock0320! I should really comment that I’m probably going to customize the ring’s metal after I choose the style. Those are just the samples I tried on.
I kinda love rose gold and white gold better than gold though…
But I absolutely understand the logic and will surely consider it when I pick my style. Things do go out of fashion.. but diamonds are a girl’s best friend? haha x
Thanks again!

FutureMrsClaydon: Well in that case, I still love setting #3! I haven’t seen anything like it, and it’d look beautiful in any color gold you choose.
Best of luck on your decision-making. Your ring will turn out gorgeous no matter what 🙂

I, too, like #3 better because it is so unique. I would pick rose gold for you though, it looks very nice with your skin tone 🙂

Thank you so much ladies for your opinion, it’s always good to get a girly input on decisions that are suddenly handed over to you. I think I’ve chosen my favorite. I’ll show you later when I do. Going back to the store next week

I think #3 is the most elegant looking on your hand, the top two look a little bulky. The rose and yellow both look beautiful with your skin!
