i tried to post this earlier but I think it failed! I have narrowed my wedding dress search down to two dresses. One is a mikado silk dress with bow detail on the back and buttons going down the large train, the other has a floaty skirt and smaller train. I would really love if you could tell me which you prefer because I am totally torn! My mum and bridesmaids opinions also differ!!

The first dress is pretty on you but its the most standard looking wedding dresses. It’s just so vanilla. I LOVE the second one on you, so stylish, and you’ve got the body to pull it off.

I’m in love with the second dress. What is it!?!

The second is stunning, first is average

That second dress knocks my socks off! Gorgeous 😍

The second dress is more special and flattering than the first.

If I could make one suggestion, is that a piece of sheer material between the cleavage? I would remove that if you are comfortable doing so. I find it distracting on an incredibly gorgeous dress! It’s not necessary and you don’t have a very large bust that requires a modesty piece. You can totally pull that off in a classy and elegant way without it. Second dress all the way Bee!

Dress 2 is very flattering to your figure

The material, buttons and train (all things we cannot see clearly in the picture) would make the first dress win for me. The issue, of course, if that the first dress is obviously too big, so it looks like it has no shape, while the second one looks as though it fits better, so it isn’t a fair comparison. I still choose the first one, and I’d love to see a picture of the back!

Second ! It’s a bit diffrent and show off your body !

I agree with PP. The first one is very plain and doesn’t do you stunning figure many favours. The second one looks much better.

I love both. I would have a hard time choosing as well. Good luck, Bee.

sharkey38 : Thank you!! It is a justin alexander dress 88093
WillowBee33 : Yes it is! Thank you for your suggestion :)! I do tend to agree with you! During alterations I was considering asking for this to be removed and for the v to be narrowed very slightly. It is a church wedding so I am worried about being disrespectful! My main worry with this dress is if there is too much chest on show! I really want it to look classy!
echomomm : I know I do agree, the first dress is too big for me and requires alterations! I should have pinched it in to give a better idea of how it would look. The details on the back of this dress is what made me love it! The full skirt and material just made me feel like a princess! My mum really loves this one. I will post a picture now of the back so you can see

Thank you so much for all your lovely comments!! It is so helpful to have totally unbiased opinions!
My thoughts on dress 1 is that it makes me feel like a princess and really feels quite luxurious! I suppose it is the dress I would have dreamed of as a little girl and really gives me disney vibes. My mum tends to think the ivory colour is also more expensive looking but I feel she has the 80’s bias there! My wedding is in February so I feel the heavier fabric works nicely with this too. And I feel like when else do you get a chance to wear a proper ballgown!
But the second dress I feel is really unique and different! As lots of you have said it is more flattering and is a little less predictable. It feels really nice and light so I feel I could be dancing all night no problem and I know my fiance would like this one better because it is slightly more flirtatious (although he has said before that as long as I love my dress that’s all that matters to him). This dress to me is less serious than the first and is more fun. I just think to me it’s not what I had expected to go for so I’m worried it won’t be ‘wedding’ enough! I am also scared that it is too revealing as I really want it to be classy!
I love them both and really cannot decide….ahh!
