I went wedding dress shopping for the first time this past weekend. I was getting a feel for what type of dresses I liked and what looked the best on me. After trying on several, I found out that I preferred natural waist dresses. My last dress I tried on, I feel in love with, which wasn’t a natural waist dress, but a drop waist. Which do you like better, the natural waist or drop waist dress?? Thanks bees!
Here is the natural waist dress. Don’t really know what my face is doing.

Here is the drop waist (in love with the skirt!)

Honestly they are both really pretty on you. I personally think the first one has more of the WOW factor but you can’t go wrong either way. I think it is just how you personally want to feel on your big day.
Good Luck!

I LOVE the natural waist dress on you! It is very flattering and elegant.
The second dress, while I do like the skirt as well, just doesn’t look as flattering in my opinion.
Best of luck 🙂

the first dress is sooooo flattering. It’s such a wow dress. That would definitely be my pick but you should go with what makes you feel the happiest!

Thanks everyone! I do think that the first dress is more flattering on me however, I feel like it could pass as a prom dress or a special occasion dress. The second one makes me feel more like a bride, and that skirt, I melt everytime I see it. Decisions, decisions!

First one – definitely. It doesn’t look like a prom dress at all.
The second one has too much going on and the sash cuts you in half.

Go with the gown that makes you feel like a bride. That is very important. You look beautiful in both gowns, but I totally understand why you feel the way that you do in each of those dresses. Also, the first gown is going to give you more of a challenge in avoiding the “double chest” effect in your wedding pics. I had this same issue, and the softer, less pointed neckline of the second dress likely will reduce this effect, vs. the sharper lines of the first gown.

I honestly think the second one is more flattering overall. It gives you fantastic curves! But, they are both beautiful and there is no wrong choice there.

You look great in both, but I think the first one looks like it’s made for you. Congratulations!

I think they both look equally great on you. I voted for #1 because of my own tastes (I’m not a huge fan of the skirt in #2). Though, you look gorgeous in both, so whichever of the two you prefer is the one you should go with 🙂
I know, no help at all. I just wanted to point out that my vote was based on the dress itself (and which I’d wear myself), and not the way you look in it.
