So this is my dress.. I love it so much. Modesty was my choice, but I love the fit and the beading and everything. I think it looks so much better in person than on the model!
First.. the dress!
See, doesn’t the picture look bad?!
It’s quite a bit more formal than I had planned, since I am getting married in a small LDS ceremony and reception in Hawaii, but I just couldn’t put it back. I love it!
That being said..
My colors are coral and yellow for a modern styled wedding (chevron, stripes, ombre, not too frilly). Summer colors work in December when you never have winter, like Hawaii! I don’t want heels because its too darn hot here (plus I haven’t worn heels more than once living here!).. nor would I like flats for the same reason. And yet, sandals seem to informal. So here are some options, help me out! Plus, I refuse to spend more than $40 on a pair of shoes I won’t wear often! keep it in the budget 🙂
And last but not least, #3 , I couldn’t resist these..! Breaking my own rules, I know.
I need all the help I can get.
Thanks ladies! Vote away!

Honestly, I would go with something a bit fancier. I’ll see if I can find any! Also, LOVE your dress. I love how it looks so fresh and it’s incredibly flattering on you. Most brides would think a more modest dress wouldn’t look good, but you look fabulous! Will you wear the blue sash?

@beckster329 No, I don’t like the look with the sash! I like it just plain how it is.
Thank for the help!

Any other opinions and/or options?

have to admit I love the third ones, even if they are breaking your rules 🙂

I voted for #1. I love #4 but I think they’d go better with a casual outfit as opposed to your wedding dress.

My sisters live in HI.
your just going to leave that big blank spot in the middle?
I’d get closed toed shoes as its suggested for the temple- even if you are not wearing them the enitre time won’t you put them on before coming out? – if not then disregaurd.

I voted for the first ones to keep within the guidelines you want. Ther beads dress it up a bit with out being to fancy. That being said I do love option 3 the heels….soo cute!
You look stunning in your dress btw. Not normally a big fan of the modest styled dress but you look fabulous!

No, I won’t be wearing the same shoes or dress inside of the temple and outside becuase the inside requirements for a dress just didn’t end up fitting what I found while shopping! 🙂
and, I feel like it looks really great with the gap personally. I didn’t like it with the belt.
Thank you so much for the compliment and for all of the shoe choices! I’m looking though them now.

Suggest that you incorporate the coral into your flowers, jewelry, perhaps your pedicure! These are silver bejeweled sandals by Enzo Angloini on zappos that will complement the embellishments on your bodice AND will go with most anything else you may wear in Hawaii on the honeymoon!
