I’m getting married in August and I know it’s just a little late to be choosing wedding colors but I haven’t done my center pieces yet sooo…
I’m having my reception in this lake house type venue next to a river with a deck over looking the river, Half my venue is windows looking outside to the river. In august everything will be VERY green here in GA. I was thinking Green, white, Ivory. But I really want an extra color to POP!! What would you suggest???

It’s August…throw a bit of orange or yellow into the mix! So cheerful!

Try The Perfect Palette http://www.theperfectpalette.com/ it allows you to choose a color you already like and gives suggestions to pair with it.
Maybe start with colors that you and your bridesmaids look good in. Personally, I like navy (to tie in the river) and bright green but it’s not exactly a POP color. Tangerine is also nice!

What color are the Bridesmaid or Best Man dreses?
Maybe use coral/peach/ivory for centerpieces? I love coral 🙂

How about a bright blue? Still ties in the river like @MrsLongoToBe suggested but much brighter. Also most girls look good in blue if the Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses haven’t been bought yet (although you’d better get a move on!).
Here is a gorgeous cake that I was just looking at that would be perfect for bright blue, green, and ivory!

Green is a good base color because so many colors look great with it! It depends on what kind of style you are going for. Are you going to fun, classic, rustic? I like pink and green, purple and green or orange and green. Good luck!

I reallllly like- Ivory, green, coral, and yellow together. Centerpieces with flowers in these tones:
with lemon slices in the vases!

What kind of green? Is it more a lime green or a forest green?
I would say orange with the dark green and aqua with the lime.

I’m getting married by a river, too. I picked sage green (some lighter, some darker), light blue, and lots of river rocks everywhere, so some grey. I wanted it soft and natural.

A saturated blue (royal or navy) and/or a saturated dark pink. If everything is going to be super green, you want to make sure that your details and your girls are standing out against the background!
