I have a size 7 ring with a 6.5mm moissanite. Even with a halo, I would go with a 7mm bc of more finger coverage, but I like bigger rings. When I first got it, I thought it was a decent size but I was coming from a 5.5mm(half carat) moissanite so the size difference was huge. Now it seems so small to me. Mind you this ring has a small bead like metal halo on the head so it makes the stone appear a little larger than it is.

    I have a bezel set 7mm on a 6.75 finger. I vote 7mm! Shrinkage is real, haha.IMG_2079_copy

g0ne :  If your’e worried about shrinkage I would get the larger one.  A 6.5mm moissy with a halo is enough for me.  I’ve been wearing a fake ring with a 1 carat stone and halo for a few months now and haven’t experienced any shrinkage so I’m planning that in the design of my new ring.

g0ne :  6.5 is a 1ct diamond equivalent, and 7mm is a 1.3ct equivalent. You can probably find a local jeweler with diamond and try them on for size.

If you like larger stones, get the larger stone. Honestly, 150 euros seems like a very small difference to pay for what you really want. And in the grand scheme of this ring…you won’t remember 150 euros down the road, but you will be thinking of that 7mm stone you didn’t get it really wanted.

I have an amora moissy but it’s not my e-ring. I’m using it for a project but here it is in a stone holder. I’m a size 4. I say go bigger. Also in pic is my 2 carat diamond so a 7mm with a halo you may get around the same finger coverage. I also tend to prefer larger. Ring Shrikage is real. Whatever you get, your eyes will adjust and it will not seem large. Trust me.

This is my 7mm moissy and my finger is a 6.5.  It could be the combo of the halo and the side stones but to me, it feels quite large. Almost too large.

If I had it to do over, I’d have gone for the 6.5.
