So I’ve actually been hawk-watching these shoes for 1/2 a year now and they go like hot-cakes and I haven’t been able to get my size! I always knew I wanted them but didn’t realize until now that they would be perfect for my wedding because they are (1) gorgeous, (2) cheap, and (3) fit my dress theme/colours perfectly (I’m making my own modified flamenco dress, if that gives you any inclination for how PERFECT these shoes are!!). They have just restocked, so I need to decide ASAP on which variant is best.
So bees, my question is solid or lace?
I love them equally, but keep flip-flopping about it. I like them because in addition to being beautiful, they look like low-fall off risk (now, I am a heel maniac, but I get sweaty feet when I’m really nervous/excited – does that scream danger on the wedding day or what??).

Ugh, I’m so contrary. 2/3 say solid, so now I want lace! 🙁

I love love love the lace ones!!!

While I normally love lace details on shoes, this lace pair just seems a bit too busy for me. I prefer the solid pair; they still have all the style elements and flair, while being balanced out by the solid fabric portions. But both are stunning!

I think the lace will look great with the style of your dress.

the lace would look a different color because you would see flesh through it.

I voted solid, but if you love the lace, you should get those. It’s ultimately your decision either way 🙂

@Azalea_Bee: Yes, that’s something I was concerned about, and since I can’t try them on it makes the decision difficult. I also agree with @Miss Mauverick: regarding the busy-ness, but I love the lace like the other bees mention!
Maybe I should get a size up and if I don’t like how the lace colour looks with my feet in it (WHY WHY WHY couldn’t they have put someone’s foot in the picture?!) or it seems too busy, I could line it with a fabric and add the colour/reduction in busy-ness that I like? Does that seem feasible? And if I like it as is, I’ll put comfy soles in for the size up.
