I’m torn between these two dresses… The Maggie one is cheaper but I like stylistically the Anjolique better. (I like very simple styles. This is my #1 fav.) I’ve tried on both and both fit me well (anticipating alterations of course.)
Edited to add: The Maggie will cost me about $450 and the Anjolique will cost me $1200. My fiance says to get whichever one I won’t regret. Both are under budget. Has anyone here bought a dress because it was cheaper and regretted it later?

It’s really hard to tell without seeing a picture of it on you, but just based on the dress I voted for the Anjolique. The cut and fit look very similar, but I dont like the pick ups.

I like both styles, but I will say that neither fabric photographs particularly well. Keep in mind these are pro photos too, so hopefully you won’t look like you’re a big white glare in pictures!

I vote dress one but it’s hard to tell for sure without seeing them on you.

If it was a question of which one was within your budget that would be one thing, but since you are saying you could afford either one, I would say go with what makes you happiest. If you feel like you are settling by picking the cheaper dress, then you will probably regret it later.

But I will be honest, and state this is because I really, really do not like pickups. There is no other reason for my preference.

I love the first one it has more drama about it. The 2nd one is more elegant and structured. It depends on what look you want. If you are small and short I’d go for 2.

Yeah I’m going for elegant vs drama 🙂 And I’m 5’3″ 95 lbs.

I personally am not a fan of pick-ups in the skirts, especially as many of them as are in the Maggie. I think the Anjolique dress is much more sophisticated and beautiful, and just the perfect touch of girliness with the flowers at the hip.

The maggie just seems too busy for my taste. The Anjolique is BEAUTIFUL, and from one anjolique bride to potentially another, I couldn’t rave more about the construction of their dresses!

I love dress one. The dropped waist and flower details make it seem so flattering and i adroe the pick ups!

I picked dress 2 as I don’t personally like pick ups, and I feel the Maggie is too busy and distracting. The Anjolique is so much more modern. It’s beautiful!
If both come in under budget and you love the Anjolique more, you should go with your gut.

I don’t like the “comforter” look so I voted for the Anjolique
