Ring Y seems more elegant to me. Let us know what you choose!

I’d go with Y for the same reason about having irritated fingers with more pave. Also, they look almost identical and you could put that $350 towards your wedding band!

I prefer ring Y – something to do with how the pave is set in the prongs…

Just an idea, maybe put a poll?

Ring Y all the way.  I tried on 3/4 eternity and full eternity bands, and I found them really irritating.  My wedding band is half eternity.  You can’t tell from the front that the stones don’t go all the way around, there are fewer stones to worry about losing, and it’s comfortable.

Oh-no I’m late to this thread! I’m making a plug for ring Y because that is my ring and I looove it!

Pros of ring Y:

1. Closer set petite pave makes the surface of the band look like pure diamonds, especially in photos from far away, making it look like the diamond is floating on your finger.

2. I found pave between my fingers uncomfortable at first, so I prefer a half eternity ring for comfort. Plus, you can’t see the diamonds between your fingers! I also like being able to turn my ring around when I’m taking public transit to feel safer sometimes.

3. If you like thin bands, this setting’s band is just thin enough to be very comfortable but still very sturdy!

4. I’ve worn my e-ring 24/7 for almost 10 months now and have had no problems with the stones on ring Y πŸ™‚

Either way, I don’t think you can go wrong. Congrats on getting down to your final choice! Please make sure to post tons of photos when you get your ring!!

Also this deserves a second comment…

If you are considering pairing your e-ring with a matching wedding band, I priced out matching pave rings everywhere when we were shopping, and the matching JA ring ended up being the lowest cost for the best quality diamonds (F-G, higher clarity) in a pave wedding band anywhere I could find online personally. Plus my Fiance and I waited until a shopping holiday to purchase so it was totally worth it.

Also, here is another photo of the band shining in the sun πŸ˜€

Yep, I’ve been following your posts! Is the price difference between french pave and petite pave the only thing that made you reconsider before ordering?

milabeehappy:  I agree with the PP’s about the possibility of the pave irritating fingers.  I like the pave better on ring Y.  It looks more delicate and shows off the diamonds better.  They are both beautiful, but I like ring Y better and would anticipate that it might be more comfortable.

Oh, I didn’t realize french pave does not have a cathedral setting. My mistake! Hooray for choosing ring Y and congrats bee! It will be even more perfect in person, I promise πŸ™‚
